Prof S.C. Dike is a Professor of Energy and Comparative Environmental Law.He is currently the Deputy Dean and HOD of the Public Law Department.

Prof Dike holds an LLB (Hons) & LLM from the Rivers State University and PhD in Energy Law from the Prestigious University of Aberdeen, UK.

His areas of specialisation include:

*Energy Law

*Oil and Gas Law

*Environmental Law

“Renewable Energy Law

“Corporate Governance Law

*Blue Economy

*Nanotechnology Law&

*Digital and Data Protection Law.

He has well over One hundred publications covering these specialities. He is also Called to the Nigeria Bar in 1988 as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Prof Dike was employed as a Lecturer One in 2004 and his appointment was confirmed in 2006.
