Mrs. Paamia-Pius, Charity Lekia is a native of Buan in Khana local government area of Rivers state. She studied and graduated from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), now Rivers State University, Nkpolu Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt where she obtained a Bachelor degree (B.Sc) in Accountancy in 1998 and a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori now Ken Saro Wiwa Polytechnic in 1990. She proceeded to do her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as an Accountant in the Rivers State Ministry of Finance (UNDP) as an Accountant where she completed her service in 1999.
Mrs. Paamia-Pius, Charity Lekia was employed as an Auditor II in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, Internal Audit Unit in 2000. She rose through ranks to the position of Director Audit in 2018 to date. She has served in several committees of the University. She is a member of Some professional accounting bodies.
She loves devoting her time to exercising, traveling for conferences, reading, watching movies and participating in church activities.
Mrs. Pius is Happily married to her amiable husband Engineer Pius Daniel and has four lovely children.
