Dr. Ibifake Miriam So-oriari George is a legal professional and academic with a wealth of experience in both the practice and teaching of law. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Rivers State University, graduating with a Second Class Upper Division. Dr. George further earned both a Master of Laws (LL.M) and a Ph.D. in International Humanitarian Law, specializing in the refugee crisis, from the same institution’s Faculty of Law.

A dispute resolution specialist, Dr. George is a member of several prominent organizations, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Commonwealth Lawyers Association (CLA), and the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT). She has published over ten articles in reputable legal journals, contributing to the discourse on Constitutional Law and Rights.

Currently, Dr. George serves as a Lecturer II in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, at the Rivers State University. She has taught various law courses, including Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, and Legal Systems, and is recognized for her dedication to advancing legal education and research.
