CURRENT RANK: Senior Lecturer

Dr. Chukuma O. Ajie is a founding member of the Faculty of Law, employed in 1981 as a clerical assistant. He rose through the rank to the post of Chief Executive Officer in 2014.

In 2015 he converted and joined the academic staff of the Faculty of Law as a lecturer II and progress to the present rank. He holds a diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations,  also a certificate in Mathematics, LL.B, BL, LL.M, Ph.D (RSU) in Business and Industrial Law ChMc (Canada).

He has been nominated as fellow of chartered institution of management consultant. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law.

Courses taught in the department includes: Company Law, Contract Law, Insurance Law, Business Law, Labour and Industrial Law. He has over 40 publications in reputable journals to his credit, married with 5 children.
