Dr Cleverline Brown holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and Master of Laws Degree from the Rivers State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Law and Sustainability from the University of the West of England Bristol, United Kingdom. She is a lecturer, Research Fellow, and Legal Practitioner in Nigeria. Her research focuses on Environmental Law, Sustainability, Climate Change, Compliance, Enforcement, Natural Resources Law, Information Technology, and Rights of Nature. With a passion for teaching and administration, she is dedicated to mentoring students and fostering a deeper understanding of the legal challenges and opportunities in addressing global environmental issues. She currently teaches Environmental Law and Practice, Environmental Pollution Management, Oil and Gas Law, Oil Mining Law, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Policies and Governance at the undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. She is also a blog post editor with the Global Network for Human Rights and Environment (GNHRE) and an associate editor with the Nigerian Journal of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Development (NWaSHDev).
