Aalonebari Gborogbosi is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Law at Rivers State University, with extensive experience in academia and legal practice. Since joining the University in 2014 in the then Department of Business Law (now the Department of Commercial and Industrial Law), Mr. Gborogbosi has specialized in Energy Law, Oil and Gas Law, Business Law and International Development Policy.
He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and a Master of Science (MSc) in International Development (International Political Economy and Development) from the University of Birmingham, UK, with foundational legal training from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (LLB), and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos (BL).
Mr. Gborogbosi at various times has taught core subjects such as Law of Contract, Commercial Law, Company Law, Law of Evidence and Business Law. He also supervises dissertations and mentors students in both academic and professional growth. His contributions to curriculum development and active involvement in Faculty activities underscore his dedication to advancing legal education.
A recognized thought leader, he has presented at international conferences and published extensively on Energy Law, Oil and Gas Law, Educational Development and Public Policy.
As a dedicated member of the Faculty of Law, Mr. Gborogbosi serves on various departmental and faculty committees. His professional expertise, strong focus on academic integrity, and commitment to impactful research make him a valued member of the university and the wider legal community.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers.
