Reginald W. B. Nnwoka Esq joined the University in 2022 as a Lecturer II in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law (JIL) of the Faculty of Law. Reginald completed his undergraduate, LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Wales in 2011, followed by an LLM in International Law at Coventry University in 2012.
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014, and appointed a Notary Public for Nigeria in 2022. Reginald is a practicing advocate who often acts as counsel in complex and high-value commercial and constitutional law litigations, as well as an arbitrator/mediator in various forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Reginald’s research interests and writing focuses on constitutional and tax law, electoral law, administration of civil and criminal justice, and alternative dispute resolution, with additional interests in family and inheritance law. He currently teaches undergraduate students Nigerian Legal Method, Nigerian Legal System and Criminal Law, and often supervises undergraduate students’ dissertations.
