PROFILE:

Prof. Chris Wigwe is a Professor of Jurisprudence and International Economic Law in the department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Faculty of Law of the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a Solicitor of England and Wales, regulated by Law Society of England, and a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Prof. Chris Wigwe is a seasoned academic with a wealth of experience spanning over two decades. He teaches Jurisprudence and Legal Theory and the Law of Evidence at the undergraduate level. In the postgraduate level, Prof. Wigwe teaches International Economic Law, International Trade Law, International Monetary Law, and Law of International Institutions. In contribution to knowledge, he has over 50 peer reviewed articles in both local and international journals covering these areas of law.

Prof. Chris Wigwe doubles as the extant Dean of the prestigious Faculty of Law, RSU. He is a bona fide member of RSU Senate, and has served on several committees in different capacities. Prof Wigwe is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and member of the Inner Bar of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
