An enthusiastic, focused, self-motivated, goal-oriented and COREN-registered Engineer cum University Lecturer, with experience spanning across teaching and administration; an active researcher with over 60 publications in reputable national and international academic journals and peer-reviewed conferences in the areas of Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

Biography

  • Male from Osiakpu Community, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State.
  • Started working with the University as Assistant Lecturer in 2003.
  • Held several offices such as: Electrical Engineering Departmental Examination Officer and SIWES Coordinator; Ag, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering (2015-2018) and Pioneer Ag, Head, Department of Computer Engineering (2018-2022); Member, Rivers State University COVID-19 Enforcement Committee; Maiden Chairman, Faculty of Engineering Conference Planning Committee.
  • Currently the Chairman of University’s Website Optimisation Committee.
  • Married to Mrs. Dayibara Sunny-Orike with three children (Chukwuoma, Chukwumbana and Chukwumela).
