Biography

Prof. Confidence Kinikanwo Wachukwu is a native of Ibaa town in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. Prof. Wachukwu is married to Mrs. Joy Kinikanwo Wachukwu, a Mass Communication graduate
and they are blessed with five (5) children.

He is a Professor of Applied Microbiology. He is currently the Dean-Faculty of Science, Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of Nigerian Environmental Society (FNES) and also Fellow of Nigerian Biological Safety Association (FNiBSA).
