Hope Dickson graduated from Rivers State University in 2008, she was called to the Bar in 2010. She obtained her Master’s Degree from the Prestigious University of East London, United Kingdom where she bagged a distinction in International Law and Financial Market. Hope joined the Faculty of Law Rivers State University on a transfer of service from Rivers State Judiciary where she served as a Legal Assistant between 2012 and 2022. She is currently a Lecturer 11 in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law where she teaches Nigerian Legal Method and Nigerian Legal system. She is also a PhD student in the same department.

As an ardent researcher, she has published articles in different journals both locally and internationally. She also serves as Board Member in some reputable companies.

Research interest: international monetary Law

International Economic Law, Financial Market Regulation, corporate governance, Banking and Insurance Law.
