Graduated with a B.A. Degree in History from the University of Port Harcourt in 1985. Obtained a Law Degree in 1995 from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University) and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1996. I obtained a PhD. Degree in History in 2021 from the University of Port Harcourt, specialising in Social and Political History. In the last 33 years, I have taught History and Law in Tertiary Institutions, with particular interest in African History, Social and Political History, Development Studies, International Law, International Human Rights, and Environmental Law. My new area of academic interest is in diplomacy. I have over 50 peer reviewed articles in reputable local and International Journal Publications.
