George-Ibikiri Soibiteinyim 

CURRENT RANK: Senior Lecturer

Dr. George-Ibikiri Soibiteinyim in 1992, graduated from the Faculty of Law, Rivers State University of Science and Technology and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993 after attending the Nigerian Law School in Lagos and successfully passing the qualifying exams.

After her compulsory national youth service corps, she went into private legal practice in the Law Firm of West and West until 2004 she was employed as Lecturer 2 in the Faculty of Law, Rivers State University of Science and Technology. She has risen to the rank of Senior Lecturer in the department of Private and Property Law.

Dr. George-Ibikiri Soibiteinyim obtained her LLM in 1998 and Ph.D in 2022.

She teaches Law of Torts and Land Law at the undergraduate levels. 

Dr. George-Ibikiri Soibiteinyim had taught Law of Dilapidation and Introduction to Law at post graduate levels. Currently, she teaches Advanced Family Law as well as Customary Law, Commerce and Social Relations at the Postgraduate level.
