At its core, RSU-DAR is a structure that\u202fliaises with individuals who attended the Rivers State University and were found worthy in character and learning and who received certificates of graduation from the University, or the collectivity of such individuals (Alumni Association). is mandated to do for alumni and for the University.<\/p>\r\n         <\/div>\r\n         <ul class=\"duty\">\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To arrange for and ensure the smooth take -off of the Directorate including setting up the administrative structure, identifying and utilizing appropriate staff from the University to successfully execute the mandate of the directorate.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To compile, store and produce a database of all graduates of the University arranged according to their Departments, Faculties and years of graduation.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To regularly interact and interface with these graduates or corporate entities where they work and identify projects or areas that the Alumni can be of assistance to the University.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To formulate policies and measures that will encourage the alumni to be interested in the affairs of the University and promote healthy competition for project execution among the various groups of alumni.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To organise conferences, seminars, workshops, fund raising and similar activities that will galvanize the commitment of the alumni to the cause of the Alumni Association and the University.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To work with the Executive of the Alumni Association of the University and ensure that fresh graduates and others regularly participate in the affairs of the Association and the University.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"><path d=\"M5 12.5l4.5 4.5L19 7.5\" \/><\/svg><\/span\r\n               >To suggest policy measures that will provide incentives for Alumni of the University in terms of assistance in admissions, employments and other matters affecting the University.\r\n            <\/li>\r\n            <li>\r\n               <span class=\"tick\"\r\n                  ><svg Gabriel, the pioneer Director.<\/div>\r\n            <p>Dr. Asawo is an alumnus of the University and a pragmatic, conscientious and reliable professional with over thirty years of experience in the private and public sectors. He joined Rivers State University in January 2014 and is a Reader in Organizational Leadership and Behavioural Research.<\/p>\r\n            <p>He is a pioneer researcher in Africa on Workplace Spirituality, a Google Scholar with several publications in reputable journals, and an editor and reviewer for notable international journals. He has authored and edited books on research methodology, organisational studies and leadership.<\/p>\r\n            <ul class=\"hl\">\r\n               <li><b>Department<\/b>Business Administration,
